Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, also ruling Awami League president, is set to visit Cox’s Bazar on Tuesday morning.

The whole Cox’s Bazar has been covered with security curtain. Special Security Force (SSF), Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB), Rapid Action Battalion (RAB), Army personnel are patrolling the area.

According to the tour schedule, Sheikh Hasina will arrive on a helicopter in Ramu upazila of the district around 11.00am and inaugurate Buddha Bihar at Bimukti Bidarshan Bhabna Kendra.

From there, the Prime Minister is scheduled to go to Ramu central Sima Bihar to inaugurate new buildings of 10 Buddhist monasteries including Sima Bihar.

Around 12.30pm the Premier will go to Inani Rest House of Ukhia upazila.

Later, after lunch around 2.30pm Prime Minister will address a rally at Ukhia High School ground. Before that, she will inaugurate 16 new buildings and development programs including seven Buddhist monasteries.

Sheikh Hasina also is set to inaugurate Marine Research Institute in Penchardwip, an Atomic Medical Centre, Fire Service Station, Teknaf, Sub-registrar Office of Chakaria, Cox’s BAzar Textile Institute and Chiringa food go down and many other development activities.

The premier will fly for Dhaka around 4.00pm
