Before seven years popular TV actor, director and host Afzal Hossain performed in a TV play, which was directed by Ashraful Alam Ripon. Afzal again performed in same director’s play this time. Title of the play is “Aaral-e.” Story of the play was written by Moin Ahmed.
A lonely person who lost his wife still believes that she is alive. He always conversation with her. Story of the play continues with this climax.
Shooting of the play was done at Rajyo shooting house in the city’s Uttara area on August 4.
In this play, two promising TV actresses Moutushi Biswas and Prashun Azad performed with Afzal Hossain in two important roles.
While sharing his feelings to perform with these two actresses Afzal Hossain told this correspondent, “Moutushi was known to me when she was child. When my shooting unit went to Chittagong she became part of our team. She performs well. Though Prashun Azad is newcomer but she has natural quality of acting ability. Therefore she is smart. On the other hand, I like Ashraful Alam Ripon. From that point of view, I have agreed to perform in his directed play. I have enjoyed performing in this play.”
Moutushi said, “I never thought that I would get the opportunity to perform against Afzal bhai. Ashraful Alam Ripon bhai extended his hands to fulfil my dream. I am grateful to him. I am also grateful to Afzal bhai as I also enjoyed acting against him, which was enjoyed by me.”
While talking about her performance against Afzal bhai Prashun told this correspondent, “I am still feeling dream that I had performed against Afzal sir.”
It may be mentioned that Moin Ahmed, also scriptwriter of this play, has also performed in an important role in this play.
The play “Aaral-e” will be aired on Desh TV at 9:45pm on the sixth day of Eid festival.
Afzal Hossain directed Eid serial “Cox’s Bazar-e Kaktarua” will be aired on Channel i during the festival. Its story is based on adaptation of Faridur Reza Sagar written “Chhotokaku” series.
On the other hand, Afzal Hossain acted Eid play “Modhyo Raat-er Golpo,” directed by Noim Imtiaz Neyamul, will be aired on NTV at 8:10pm on second day of Eid festival. Pantho Shahriar has scripted this play.
