Golpo is the only daughter of popular TV actress of the small screen Sushoma Sarkar. Golpo was born on August 21 in 2008. When she had to know everything from that time she has engaged herself in drawing. For the last couple of years, she has painted some good works on her canvases.
To display her daughter’s those artworks, Sushoma is going to arrange a solo painting exhibition on Golpo’s birthday (August 21) at a community centre in the city’s Uttara area. This exhibition will be inaugurated by popular TV actress and singer Shampa Reza.
While talking about the exhibition Sushoma told this correspondent, “On August 21, Golpo will turn six years old. I am regularly working in media. In fact, I don’t get the opportunity to take part in open discussion or gossip with my media friends due to lack of time schedule. For this reason, I have arranged this exhibition. It will be one kind of get-together programme. I will expect all of my colleagues, media personnel, well-wishers to attend this programme and pray for my daughter.”
Sushoma informed that the whole programme is being coordinated and managed by her husband Liton Kar. The full name of Golpo is Anindya Golpo Kar. She will take admission in nursery in Southbridge School, Uttara this year.
On the other hand, Sushoma attended Channel i’s live show “Citycell Tarokakathon” yesterday. Sushoma acted drama serials - “Bhalobasar Chotushkone,” “Ladies First,” “Nurjahan,” “Bonophul-er Gaan” are being aired in different satellite channels now. It may be mentioned that Sushoma’s birthday is March 7.
